We're Glad You're Here!

Due to Covid-19 safety guidelines, our "Grace Space" at both campuses has been disassembled. We are also not hosting coffee hour after services. We apologize for any inconvenience, but your safety is our top priority.

What do I wear?

What should children expect?

Wear what is comfortable for YOU! We do not have air conditioning in our sanctuary at the Montague Campus, so summers can be quite warm -- however, The Praise Center does have air conditioning in the sanctuary.  All ages come to worship in clothing to fit the weather and their own needs and comfort. We see everything from jeans, to business casual, to suits and dresses. We just want you to come and worship with us!

How does communion work?

Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. ALL are invited to God's Table and ALL are welcome to receive Communion (this includes children, too!). Pastor Mike will announce the beginning of Communion, two lines will form, and a server will offer you a piece of bread, then the bread is dipped into the cup of grape juice and eaten. We use grape juice for Communion so that those in recovery can participate worry-free. If you are unable to take Communion at the front of the sanctuary, it will be offered to you at your seat.
Children are ALWAYS welcome! At the front of both of our sanctuaries, we've dedicated a "Grace Space" for children and their families. Children are welcome to draw, color, work on puzzles, play with small toys, and read books. Please do not worry about your child disrupting the worship service. We are delighted to have them (and you!) here! Nursery is also available at both locations for the younger children if needed.

What is a typical service like?

Services begin at 9:00 am at our Montague Campus (8555 Cook Street in Montague) and at 11:00 am at The Praise Center in Whitehall (117 S. Division Street, Whitehall). The 9:00 am traditional service will include scripture, hymns, special music, and Pastor's sermon. A bulletin is provided upon entering the sanctuary that provides you with the morning's order of worship. Hymnals can be found in the pew in front of you, or on the seat next to you.  The 11:00 am praise band service will include praise and worship music and Pastor's sermon. Children's Church (known also as Sunday School) will be held during this service as well. Our new audio visual system also provides two screens at the front of the sanctuaries that provide the order of service and lyrics to hymns/praise and worship music. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask a neighbor, they'd be more than happy to help you out!

What happens after service?

After service, everyone will exit the sanctuary for coffee hour. Coffee hour takes place in the Fellowship Hall located in the center of our building at our Montague Campus, and at the back of the building at the Praise Center. Please feel free to join us for snacks, juice, or coffee. We'd love to spend more time getting to know you!

Do you offer any Sunday classes?

YES! Adult Sunday School and Youth Sunday School classes are available. Please see the program tab on our website for more detailed information. Currently, at 10:30 am book study is held at the Montague Campus following Sunday morning service, and Children's Church is held at the Praise Center at 11:00 am on Sunday mornings.
